Organic Apprenticeships with Bristol Drugs Project

The Community Farm is a community-owned social enterprise, growing and selling organic food through a box delivery service.

Our aim is to help people develop a better understanding of where their food comes from, reconnect with the land on which their food is grown, and learn more about sustainable farming.

Last year, we began a programme with the Bristol Drugs Project offering year-long organic apprenticeships.

Nearing the end of the programme, two of our five trainees agreed to be filmed and talk about their experiences in this video.

The apprenticeships provide an opportunity for people to learn new skills for the horticultural industry, (where there is currently a big skills gap) and learn new skills to help them back into employment.
